Miracles of Hope Foundation for Amputees, founded in 2022 by Jean Mwale and Charity Kasengele Force, is dedicated to empowering individuals facing limb loss. The foundation has established a chapter in Zambia to address unique challenges in the region.
The foundation’s approach includes:
i). Provision of Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Assistive Devices: Ensuring amputees have access to essential devices for mobility and independence.
ii). Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services: Offering physical and occupational therapy, along with psychological counseling for holistic care.
iii). Training and Support for Healthcare Professionals and Caregivers: Investing in programs to enhance expertise and sensitivity in providing effective support.
iv). Awareness Campaigns and Public Events: Engaging in initiatives to foster understanding and empathy towards amputees, building an inclusive community.
v). Skill Development Programs and Vocational Training: Providing opportunities for economic empowerment through skill development and vocational training.
vi). Support for Educational Opportunities and Scholarships: Empowering amputees to pursue academic goals through scholarships and educational support.

We ensure Amputees stay healthy so that they are able to work, enabling them to earn money to support themselves and their families.

We provide Amputee care in some of the world’s poorest countries like Zambia, ensuring Amputees can be treated for Amputee conditions.

Our training and awareness programmes aim to ensure that all amputees are able to go to school.

We strive for gender equality in all our awareness programmes, right from the planning stages, to make sure we are as equitable as possible.

Our Equal World campaign promotes equality for Amputees to ensure their rights are upheld.
